Payment plans cannot be changed. But you may pay your layaway in advance. 

If you miss your payment, your account will be tagged as overdue and you may not be able to place an order with layaway. 

Late payments are subject to a 3% overdue fee.

Please settle your overdue payment as soon as possible to avoid additional consequences under our payment and layaway policies.

3. If you’re new to Booked Up!, create an account.
4. Select your preferred payment method from the dropdown menu.
5. Scan the QR code or use the provided payment details.
6. Send your payment.
7. Take a screenshot of your proof of payment.
8. Upload your proof of payment.

Not necessarily. Some stages of the process naturally take longer than others.

If your book is a preorder

Your book may simply not have been released yet.

It can take several months for the status to move from:

Book Secured → In Transit to WHS

If your book is already being shipped to the Philippines

International shipping and customs can take weeks to months.

Your status may remain at:

Preparing to Ship Out → Shipped Out → In Transit to PH → Customs Processing

for an extended period.

A status that hasn’t changed recently does not automatically mean that your order is lost or forgotten.

Preorders are books that have not yet been released at the time you place your order.

Because of this, it is normal for a preorder to take several months from the date of order.

Once the book is released, it still needs to be shipped from overseas to the Philippines. Our international shipments generally travel by sea cargo, which can take another 3–5 months.

Your preorder therefore involves two major waiting periods:

Book release → International shipping → Arrival in the Philippines

Please always check the estimated release date and ETA before placing a preorder.

We understand that receiving a book with imperfections can be disappointing.

However, Booked Up! does not offer refunds or returns based on the condition of books received.

Our books are sourced from overseas, and returning individual copies internationally is generally not possible. In addition, the stores and suppliers we source from do not provide refunds or replacements for imperfect or damaged copies.

Because of this, please understand that minor dents, marks, shelf wear, or other imperfections may occur during the sourcing and shipping process.

3-5 months via sea cargo

We currently schedule one pickup during the weekday and conduct drop-offs every weekend.

Please allow additional time for your parcel to move through the courier’s network after dispatch.

Weather delays

For the safety of the books and our delivery team, we may temporarily hold deliveries when the weather is unsafe in our area or at the destination.

If heavy rain or severe weather affects either location, your parcel may be sent out once conditions are safe and dry.
