By placing an order with BookedUp Philippines, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable in case of cancellation, unless another customer takes over your slot. We also do not offer refunds for any defects or imperfections — whether minor or major — including scratches, dents, bent or wrinkled dust jackets, or other flaws that may occur during overseas and local shipping. The only exception is if the original retailer we purchased from agrees to issue a refund or replacement for the defect; in that case, any refund we receive will be passed on to you.

Series Orders – Partial Availability

If you order multiple books as part of a series and one title becomes unavailable, is lost in transit, or cannot be fulfilled, we will refund only the affected book. Refunds do not extend to the other books in the series, even if the set can no longer be completed. Each title is treated as a separate purchase.

Shipping Time

All books are shipped via sea cargo which may take 3–5 or more months to arrive. Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, port congestion, and customs clearance. We will communicate if there is a delay of more than 5 months.

Book Condition Advisory

Because our books are special editions shipped from overseas, please expect that some may arrive with imperfections (e.g. scratches, foiling off, bent or wrinkled dustjacket, dents on hardcover, warped paperback, discoloration, sticker residues, torn cover and more). We inspect and handle every item with care , but some wear from international transit is normal and unavoidable.

Layaway Policy

Payment schedule must be followed. Overdue balances = cancelled order with no refunds. Books already on hand will only be released after full payment. Once books arrive in the Philippines, we will send photos and videos to show the status of the items.

Local Shipping Fee

Listed prices include book price, international shipping fee (ISF), and pesabuyfee only. Local shipping fee (LSF) will be collected separately once books arrive in the Philippines.

Late Payments

Late balances incur 3% interest. If you miss two consecutive payment schedules, your order will be cancelled with no refunds.

Quality Check

To ensure order accuracy and check product quality, items may undergo a standard quality check upon arrival, which may involve opening original packaging to confirm the correct item and check for visible defects. All items are securely rewrapped before shipment, and photos or videos may be taken for documentation without sharing any buyer information. Buyers may opt out at the time of ordering.

Self-Service Order Tracking

Our shop follows a self-service tracking system. Customers are responsible for checking their own order status and payment records using our trackers. We do not send payment or order confirmation messages. Please allow 24–48 hours (earliest) and up to 5 business days (latest) for payment and order validation.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to decline or cancel future orders from any customer, at our discretion. This may apply in cases of cancellations, payment disputes, failure to follow the agreed payment schedule, or conduct that is abusive or disrespectful toward us.
