Booked Up Points #
Booked Up Points is a loyalty rewards system of Booked Up Philippines. This is a different rewards system than the loyalty tiers which counts completed batches instead of per orders.
Eligible registered buyers can earn points from fully paid purchases and selected activities, then exchange those points for discount reward coupons that may be used on future eligible orders.
Booked Up Points are account-based and are separate from Booked Up Tiers and other loyalty benefits.
Program Start Date #
The Booked Up Points System officially starts on September 1, 2026.
For purchase Points, only eligible orders placed on or after September 1, 2026 will earn Booked Up Points.
Orders placed before September 1, 2026 will not earn purchase Points even if they are fully paid after the Points System has launched.
For example:
An order placed on August 30, 2026 and fully paid on September 15, 2026 will not earn purchase Points.
An order placed on September 2, 2026 and fully paid on September 15, 2026 will earn Points once the order has been fully paid.
Other qualifying activities are also subject to the September 1, 2026 program start date unless otherwise stated. The only exception is the “New Booked Up Account” rewards.
1. Eligibility #
To participate in the Booked Up Points System, you must:
- Have an active Booked Up account.
- Have your eligible orders linked to your Booked Up account.
- Submit your proof of payment through your Booked Up account whenever required.
Buyers without a Booked Up account are not eligible to earn or redeem Booked Up Points.
Guest orders and purchases that are not properly linked to a registered Booked Up account may not earn points.
One-time bonuses are intended to be awarded once per buyer. Creating additional accounts does not entitle a buyer to repeatedly receive the same one-time rewards.
2. How Purchase Points Are Earned #
Eligible purchases earn:
5 points for every complete ₱100 spent.
Points are calculated using the eligible book amount recorded on the Booked Up website after applicable discounts.
Only complete ₱100 amounts are counted.
Examples:
- ₱100 = 5 points
- ₱500 = 25 points
- ₱1,000 = 50 points
- ₱2,600 = 130 points
- ₱2,699 = 130 points
Amounts below the next complete ₱100 do not earn additional points.
3. What Amount Is Used for Points Calculation? #
Points are based on the eligible book amount recorded on the website.
Shipping fees, processing fees, overdue fees, storage fees, and other separate charges do not earn purchase points.
Discounted amounts that the buyer did not actually pay are also not included.
Example:
Book amount: ₱2,600
Discount: ₱100
Eligible amount: ₱2,500
Points earned: 125 points
4. When Purchase Points Become Available #
Purchase points become available only after the entire order has been fully paid.
For layaway orders, points may appear as Pending while there is still an outstanding balance.
Pending Points cannot be redeemed.
Once the entire order is fully paid and reflected as completed in the Booked Up system, the eligible Points become available for use.
Individual installment payments do not separately release portions of the Points.
Example:
Order amount: ₱3,000
Potential Points: 150 points
While the order is still being paid:
Pending Points: 150
Once fully paid:
Available Points: 150
5. Pending Points #
Pending Points are Points connected to eligible orders that have not yet been fully paid.
Pending Points:
- Cannot be redeemed.
- Are not yet part of your spendable balance.
- May change if the order amount changes.
- May be removed if the order is cancelled or refunded.
Pending Points become available only after the qualifying order has been fully paid.
6. Bonus Points #
Eligible buyers may also receive bonus Points from selected activities.
Current bonus rewards:
- New Booked Up Account — 50 points
- Approved Review with Photos — 75 points
- Birthday Bonus — 125 points
- Booked Up Reading Challenge — 125 points
Additional bonus opportunities may be introduced in the future.
7. New Account Bonus #
Eligible new Booked Up accounts may receive a one-time 50-point welcome bonus.
The New Account Bonus may only be received once per buyer.
Creating additional Booked Up accounts does not make the same buyer eligible to repeatedly receive the welcome bonus.
Duplicate or incorrectly awarded bonuses may be removed.
8. Review with Photos Bonus #
An eligible approved review containing at least one original photo may receive 75 points.
This bonus may only be earned once per buyer.
To qualify, the review must:
- Be submitted through the applicable Booked Up review system.
- Be approved.
- Contain at least one image.
- Meet the eligibility period of the Booked Up Points System.
Additional reviews are always appreciated but will not repeatedly generate the one-time 75-point bonus unless otherwise announced.
Duplicate, unrelated, fraudulent, or ineligible reviews will not qualify.
9. Birthday Bonus #
Eligible registered buyers may receive 125 points once per calendar year on their birthday.
Only the birth month and day are required.
Buyers may set their birthday once through their Booked Up account.
If the birthday was entered incorrectly, please contact Booked Up so it can be reviewed and corrected manually.
Birthday information cannot be repeatedly changed for the purpose of receiving additional rewards.
Birthday Points are awarded once per calendar year.
If your birthday has already passed before your birthday information is added, retroactive Birthday Points are not guaranteed.
10. Booked Up Reading Challenge #
Eligible Booked Up Reading Challenges may award 125 points.
Reading Challenge Points are currently added manually after the applicable challenge requirements have been completed and verified.
Each Reading Challenge may have its own separate mechanics and eligibility requirements.
11. Payment Proof Requirement #
Proofs of payment must be uploaded through the buyer’s Booked Up account.
Using the Booked Up account allows payments, orders, Points, and account records to remain properly linked.
If a buyer submits a payment through an alternative payment form instead of uploading the proof through their Booked Up account, a Points deduction may apply.
Current deduction:
5 points per affected alternative payment submission.
This deduction is separate from any applicable alternative processing fee.
Starting November 1, 2026, payments submitted through the alternative payment form may also be subject to a 1% alternative processing fee under the applicable Payment Proof Submission Policy.
12. What If I Have Fewer Than 5 Points? #
A Points deduction will never cause your Available Points balance to become negative.
Examples:
Available Points: 20
Deduction: 5
Remaining Points: 15
Available Points: 3
Maximum deduction: 3
Remaining Points: 0
Available Points: 0
Deduction: 0
Remaining Points: 0
Booked Up Points balances will not go below zero.
13. Exceptions for Technical Issues #
A Points deduction may be waived when a buyer genuinely cannot use their Booked Up account because of a verified account-access or website issue.
Buyers should contact Booked Up and complete reasonable troubleshooting before using the alternative form if they believe an exception applies.
Using the alternative form for convenience alone does not automatically qualify for an exception.
14. Excluded Purchases #
Not all purchases are eligible to earn Booked Up Points.
Certain stores, products, orders, or transactions may be excluded.
Current excluded store:
BookOutlet
Eligible purchases from excluded stores do not earn Booked Up Points.
Booked Up may add or remove excluded stores or products when necessary.
15. Using Reward Coupons on Excluded Products #
Booked Up Points reward coupons cannot currently be used on an order containing BookOutlet products.
If you wish to use a Points reward on other eligible books, the excluded items must be checked out separately.
16. Redeeming Booked Up Points #
Available Points may be exchanged for reward coupons through the Booked Up account.
Current rewards:
200 points = ₱20 off
Minimum eligible order: ₱2,000
500 points = ₱50 off
Minimum eligible order: ₱2,000
1,000 points = ₱100 off
Minimum eligible order: ₱2,000
1,500 points = ₱150 off
Minimum eligible order: ₱3,000
2,500 points = ₱250 off
Minimum eligible order: ₱5,000
When a reward is claimed:
- The required Points are deducted from the Available Points balance.
- A unique reward coupon is generated.
- The reward coupon may be used on an eligible order that meets the minimum order requirement.
17. Example of Redeeming Points #
Available Points: 1,200
Reward selected:
1,000 points = ₱100 off
After redemption:
Remaining Available Points: 200
A unique ₱100 Booked Up Points reward coupon will be generated for the account.
18. Do Booked Up Points Expire? #
No.
Unused Booked Up Points do not expire for as long as the Booked Up account remains active.
Points may continue to accumulate until they are redeemed.
However, once Points are exchanged for a reward coupon, the coupon has its own expiration period.
19. Reward Coupon Expiration #
Booked Up Points reward coupons expire 90 days after they are issued.
Once Points are exchanged for a reward coupon, the Points have already been spent.
If the reward coupon expires unused, the original Points are not automatically returned to the account.
Please claim a reward only when you reasonably expect to use it within the validity period.
Points or coupons may be corrected if a verified system error occurred.
20. Reward Claims Are Final #
Once Points have been successfully exchanged and a reward coupon has been generated, the redemption is considered final.
Please review the reward amount, required Points, minimum order requirement, and expiration period before claiming a reward.
21. Coupon Stacking #
Booked Up Points reward coupons are non-stackable.
They cannot be combined with:
- Promotional codes
- Tier coupons
- Loyalty coupons
- Other discount vouchers
- Another Booked Up Points reward coupon
- Other coupon codes unless Booked Up specifically announces an exception
Only one applicable discount code may be used with a Booked Up Points reward.
22. Points and Reward Coupons Are Non-Transferable #
Booked Up Points cannot be transferred between buyers or accounts.
Reward coupons are also tied to the Booked Up account that redeemed the Points.
The buyer must use the same Booked Up account that claimed the reward.
Points and reward coupons:
- Cannot be transferred.
- Cannot be sold.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Cannot be combined with another person’s Points balance.
- Cannot be moved to another Booked Up account.
23. Cancelled Orders #
Points connected to a cancelled qualifying order may be cancelled or reversed.
If the order only has Pending Points, the Pending Points may be removed.
If the order had already generated Available Points, the corresponding Points may be reversed.
24. Refunds #
Points are adjusted based on the eligible amount remaining after a refund.
A full refund may result in all Points connected to that purchase being reversed.
A partial refund may result in the Points being recalculated.
Example:
Original eligible amount: ₱2,600
Original Points: 130
Remaining eligible amount after refund: ₱2,000
Adjusted Points: 100
The Points record may therefore be reduced accordingly.
25. Points Will Never Become Negative #
Refunds, cancellations, corrections, or deductions will not cause the Available Points balance to become negative.
The minimum possible Available Points balance is 0.
26. Points Corrections and Adjustments #
Booked Up may manually add, deduct, reverse, void, or correct Points when necessary.
This may include:
- Incorrect Points calculations
- Duplicate Points
- Missing eligible Points
- Cancelled orders
- Refunds
- Reversed payments
- Duplicate bonuses
- Alternative payment form deductions
- Technical errors
- Ineligible claims
- Duplicate accounts
- Misuse of the rewards system
If you believe your Points balance is incorrect, please contact Booked Up with the relevant order or transaction details.
27. Understanding Your Points Account #
Available Points
These are Points that are currently available for redemption.
Pending Points
These are Points connected to eligible orders that have not yet been fully paid.
Earned All Time
This shows the total positive Points that have been credited to your account over time.
This is for reference and is different from your current spendable balance.
Already Used
This refers to Points that have been exchanged for Booked Up reward coupons.
Penalty deductions, refunds, and corrections are not counted as Points used for rewards.
Recent Activity
Your account may display entries such as:
- Order payment completed
- Welcome bonus
- Review with photos
- Birthday bonus
- Reading Challenge
- Reward claimed
- Alternative payment form deduction
- Manual adjustment or correction
28. Account Closure or Deletion #
Booked Up Points and rewards are linked to the registered Booked Up account.
If an account is permanently deleted or closed, all Points and associated Points rewards connected to that account will be forfeited.
This may include:
- Available Points
- Pending Points
- Unused Booked Up Points reward coupons
Forfeited Points and rewards cannot be transferred to another account.
Creating a new Booked Up account does not restore Points or rewards forfeited from a previous account.
29. Cash Value #
Booked Up Points have no cash value.
Points:
- Are not money.
- Cannot be withdrawn.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Cannot be sold.
- Cannot be transferred.
- May only be used through eligible Booked Up Points rewards.
30. Program Changes #
Booked Up may update the Booked Up Points System when necessary.
Changes may include:
- Points earning rates
- Bonus activities
- Reward amounts
- Minimum order requirements
- Eligible or excluded products and stores
- Points deductions
- Coupon validity periods
- Redemption rules
- Other program mechanics
Significant updates will be reflected in the latest Booked Up Points documentation or announced through the appropriate Booked Up channels.
Reward coupons that have already been issued remain subject to the conditions attached to those coupons, including their validity period and eligible-use requirements.
